Nutters Everyday Naturals is a health and wellness retailer with 25 locations across western Canada.
Email marketing is a powerful tool in the retail space when used to its full extent. Like social media the content must be eye catching and subject lines need to capture enough interest that customers will want to open the email they receive instead of  letting them rot in their inboxes.

I work to ensure that every email was easily identifiable as Nutters and effectively directs customers to their nearest store location. A header or footer with Nutters branding and Find A Store button is added to every email. Use of the header or footer is determined by the email content. Emails containing sale information make use of the footer, allowing customers to be drawn in by the sale details first. Emails containing generic health and wellness information or brand awareness messaging use the header so customers are encouraged to explore store locations and website. 
Nutters Newsletters cover a variety of topics following a theme each month. For November I tried a creative spin on the leaves that make up our logo to show support for the yearly moustache growing campaign Movember.
March's newsletter featured an article on the women of Nutters and to show support I came up with an alternate logo to use during Women's week.
Emails are made with demographic targeting in mind. Dynamic content & tags allow me to customize visuals so each customer sees something that is unique to their health and wellness journey. More people now use email on their mobile devices than ever before so each email is designed with mobile users in mind.
With 25 store locations it is important that promotional content that is limited to a participating store location is defined clearly to potential customers. Promotions targeted at a specific location or new store include a store locator at the bottom of every email with a link to that stores website page.
